in december, max was on a panel with emma geliot, james lowne and gary thomas at the animate digitalis commissions launch(external link opens in new window) at bfi southbank, london. max also wrote digitalis ubiquitous? ramblings of a self-confessed digital native for the digitalis catalogue(external link opens in new window). max also completed a 4-week experimental animation class for ba students at chelsea college of art & design(external link opens in new window), which resulted in shape rainbow(external link opens in new window), a collaborative 15-minute film. in november, max and indieskies(external link opens in new window) presented a preview of their kaleidobooth(external link opens in new window) phone app at the launch of alphalabs.cc(external link opens in new window), the new art/tech platform by nokia + onedotzero(external link opens in new window) - of his work, a live a/v performance with ocusonic(external link opens in new window), and a heaven + hell double-projection installation at videomedeja. a heaven + hell installation was also shown in saint petersburg at yota space(external link opens in new window), where max spoke at the onedotzero_new creators(external link opens in new window) conference, together with joanie lemercier (anti vj), carri munden (cassette playa), quayola, matt wade (kin design) and field(external link opens in new window). in the uk, the animation is twenty five(external link opens in new window) dvd came out. it includes max's collision alongside work by suzie templeton, gaelle denis, ian gouldstone, johnny kelly + other rca animation alumni. in november, 1925 aka hell won the award for best short short at st. louis international film festival(external link opens in new window) (usa). max + noriko okaku(external link opens in new window) ran a 3-day workshop + performed /\/\/\ at anilogue festival(external link opens in new window) in budapest (and were featured in unit magazine(external link opens in new window) + on d1 tv(external link opens in new window)). max also designed anilogue's posters(external link opens in new window). spanish canal plus tv featured max's work in el tamaño no importa(external link opens in new window). in japan, shift(external link opens in new independent shorts(external link opens in new window). max also premiered rescore 192010 at vis, and they awarded aanaatt a special mention. /\/\/\ (by max + noriko) won the contest for audiovisual
